#16 Panthers Fall To #10 Dartmouth On Senior Day

The program honored seniors Caroline Arena, Grace Santoro and Kieran Suntha before the match.
The 16th-ranked Middlebury women's squash team fell by an 8-1 score during its regular-season finale to #10 Dartmouth in the Bostwick Family Squash Center. 

HIGHLIGHTS
  • The Big Green jumped out to a 2-0 lead with victories at #5 and #8, respectively.
  • Trailing 2-0 in the top spot, Middlebury's Lindsey Burnham battled back to level her match with 11-9 and 11-7 wins before falling in the decisive fifth game.
  • Dartmouth posted a three-game triumph in the seventh spot before clinching the match with a 3-1 decision at #6.
  • Following a Dartmouth win at the bottom of the ladder, Panther Abby Holding went point-for-point with her opponent at #2 before dropping a back-and-forth five-game match, 3-2.
  • Middlebury earned its point in the fourth spot when Eva Finney won by default.
  • The Big Green closed the match with a four-game victory at #3 for the final 8-1 score.
NOTES  The Panthers are idle until the weekend of February 11-12 when they travel to Williamstown, Massachusetts for the NESCAC Tournament.
