Morgane Orcutt shaved nearly 20 seconds off her personal best time.
Audrey MacLean of the #27 Middlebury women's cross country team finished as the NCAA MidEast Runner-Up on Saturday, helping the Panthers to fifth place overall. Williams won the meet with 61 points, while Amherst was second (109 points) and Connecticut College (125 points) rounded out the top-three squads.

HIGHLIGHTS
- MacLean broke the 21-minute mark for the first time in her career, stopping the clock in 20:56.1 to place second overall. The Panther was step-for-step alongside Eph Genna Girard for most of the race, finishing just 16 seconds behind the winner.
- The second finisher for Middlebury was Bea Parr, placing seventh overall with a time of 21:22.0. Parr shaved nearly 46 seconds off of her previous personal-best time.
- Morgane Orcutt was next for the Panthers, clocking in at 22:22.80, which was good for 36th.
- Rounding out the scorers was Victoria Fawcett (22:34.60) and Kate Ratcliffe (22:35.80), placing 46th and 48th, respectively.
NOTES
- Also competing and making their regional debuts were Caroline VanSchaick (22:54.0) and Stephanie Renouf (22:57.4).
- Orcutt also recorded a personal best clocking, shaving 20 seconds off her 6K time.
- Fawcett broke the 23-minute mark for the first time in her career.
Middlebury hopes to receive one of 22 at-large bids to the NCAA Championship when the field is announced on Sunday.
