Men’s Golf Ties For Ninth Place At Skidmore Invitational

Paul Fine-Lease tied for 15th place.
The Middlebury men's golf team finished in a two-way tie for ninth place out of 21 teams at the Skidmore Invitational. Due to torrential rain on Saturday, the competition featured a single-day 18-hole format on Sunday.

  • Landing in a five-way tie for fifth place was Colin McCaigue, carding a two-under-par 70 on the day.
  • Paul Fine-Lease was one of eight players to place 15th, shooting a 72.
  • Charlie Schulman (76) and Tucker Lamb (76) rounded out the scorers for Middlebury, tying for 54th overall.
NOTES
  • Laval University won the event with a 288, while Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Trinity tied for second with scores of 289.
  • The Panthers' one-day score was 294.
Middlebury is back in action on Monday when it plays in the annual Ekwanok Sap Bucket Challenge in Manchester, Vermont.
