Box Score Amy Delman and Sahana Raman of the fourth-ranked Middlebury women's tennis team advanced to the quarterfinal round of the ITA Cup in doubles this weekend. 
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• On day one, the tandem made a statement, blanking Vassar's Erin McCusker and Sofie Shen 6-0, 6-0 to advance to the quarterfinals.
• Due to weather delays on Friday night, the match didn't begin until nearly midnight. Delman and Raman fell 6-2 to the Sewanee pair of Brooke Despriet and Katherine Petty in the opening set. The Panther duo bounced back and triumphed 6-3 in the middle frame, but Despriet and Petty outlasted the pair 10-8 in the third-set superbreaker to advance. 

NOTES

• The tandem was the first doubles team in program history to qualify for the event.  

The rest of the squad closes out the fall schedule at home this weekend with the Middlebury Panther Challenge.
