Men’s Golf Takes Part in Ekwanok Sap Bucket Challenge

Tucker Lamb fired an 83 to finish in 17th.
The Middlebury men's golf team took part in the Ekwanok Sap Bucket Challenge along with Trinity and Williams on Tuesday afternoon. Charlie Schulman claimed medalist honors firing a 74. The challenge is a single-day event.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Schulman earned the top spot on the leaderboard for the first time in his career. He edged Spencer Korona of Trinity by one stroke to win the event.
  • Following Schulman in the Panther lineup was Colin McCaigue who tied for 11th with a score of 80.
  • Justin Belland and Paul Fine-Lease each finished in a tie for 15th place, recording identical tallies of 82 in their respective rounds. 
  • Tucker Lamb rounded out the scorers for Middlebury placing 17th, just one stroke behind Belland and Fine-Lease.
NOTES
  • Trinity won the Ekwanok Sap Bucket Challenge with a team score of 461, while Williams (485) placed second. 
  • Logan Wang, Bradshaw Underhill and Derek Ban each competed in the Ekwanok Sap Bucket Challenge for the Panthers.
Middlebury is back in action this weekend when it participates in the NEIGA Championship in Brewster, Mass on October 14-15.
