#23 Men’s Squash Falls To 15th-Ranked Franklin & Marshall

Theo Kogan remained unbeaten for the season with his win at #5.
The 23rd-ranked Middlebury men's squash team concluded its busy weekend on the road with a 6-3 setback to #15 Franklin & Marshall. The loss to the Diplomats concludes the best start in the program's history with Middlebury falling to 6-1 overall.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Trailing 1-0, Middlebury's PK Keller remained perfect on the season with an 11-2, 11-7, 11-8 victory in the sixth spot to level the match at 1-1.
  • F&M recorded victories at #2 and #9, respectively, for a 3-1 advantage.
  • Kian Kardestuncer pulled the Panthers to within one (3-2), fighting back from a two games to one hole to earn a five-game triumph in the fourth slot. 
  • The Diplomats were victorious at #8 and clinched the match with a win at the top of the ladder.
  • Theo Kogan outlasted his opponent in the fifth slot, posting an 11-9, 8-11, 11-4, 6-11, 11-5 victory to draw Middlebury to within 5-3.
  • F&M claimed its sixth point with a four-game triumph at #3 for the final 6-3 score.
NOTES
  • With today's victories, Keller (7-0) and Kardestuncer (7-0) along with Kogan (6-0) each remain undefeated this season.
  • The win for Keller was the 25th of his career.
