The fifth-ranked Middlebury women's tennis team kicked off the fall portion of its season at the Lindsay Morehouse Invitational hosted by Williams. The weekend featured a hidden dual format with no-ad scoring and all matches consisted of a single set.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Sahana Raman (3-0) and Lulu Wu (3-0) both went undefeated during singles play for the Panthers. The victories are the first three of Wu's career.
• Nathalie van der Reis (3-1) also won a trio of matches as an individual. 
• Also earning triumphs for Middlebury were Claudia Miller, Anna Lardner and Nina Farhat.
• The Panthers won five of the eight doubles matches during Friday's play, highlighted by two victories from the tandem of Lardner and Wu by identical 6-2 scores.

NOTES

• Raman improves to 29-5 in singles action with her three wins.
• The three triumphs by van der Reis give her 10 victories in her career.
