#19 Women’s Cross Country Dominates Aldrich to Claim Title

The Panthers placed nine runners in the top 10 to win the Aldrich Invitational

The #19 ranked women's cross country team put together an impressive team performance to win the Aldrich Invitational. The Panthers placed nine runners in the top 10, and four in the top 5, with Bea Parr leading the squad and taking home the individual crown.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Middlebury won the meet with a total of 18 points, Union finished in second (50 points), while Plattsburgh State rounded out the top-three teams (93 points). 
  • Parr crossed the finish line with a winning time of 16:59.6.
  • Victoria Fawcett finished just 10 seconds behind Parr, clocking in at 17:09.6.
  • Kate Ratcliffe, Keegan McAuliffe, and Kate Kenny rounded out the scorers for the Panthers, placing fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.
  • Lily Bulzcynski crossed the finish line in seventh with a time of 17:25.8.
  • Lucca Franz (17:31.7), Josie Dolan (17:36.5), and Tatum Peskin (17:40.4) completed the race's top-10 finishers.
NOTES
  • Parr's victory was the second-straight individual title in as many weeks.
  • Middlebury won its second-consecutive meet and 10th-straight Aldrich Invitational crown.
  • Middlebury alumni Pheobe Colvin Oehmig was the first runner to cross the finish line, stopping the clock with a time of 16:29.4.
