Elizabeth Kenter led Middlebury with a 10th-place finish at the Jack Leaman Invitational this weekend. The competition was hosted by Amherst and held at the par-72 Crumpin-Fox Golf Club. New York University won the team title with a two-day total of 603, followed by Williams (607), Amherst (613) and Wellesley (644). The Panthers tied for fifth with Hamilton, both scoring a 646. Middlebury competes for the NESCAC Championship next weekend at the Amherst Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday.
Kenter shot a team-best 75 on Saturday, combining for a two-day total of 155 to place 10th overall.
Jacqueline Slinkard was next for the Panthers with an 83 on Saturday, followed by an 80 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 26th (163).
Audrey Tir was one stroke behind Slinkard, finishing in 30th with a combined score of 164.
Maddy Cordeiro rounded out Middlebury's scorers with a two-day total of 165 (84-81), good for a 31st-place tie.
