Williams leads the group with a score of 303, followed by host Amherst (304), New York University (307) and the Panthers (325). Action continues at the par-72 Crumpet-Fox Golf Club on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
Elizabeth Kenter was the top performer for Middlebury, sitting in a three-way tie for fourth-place with a 75.
Audrey Tir and
Jacqueline Slinkard are tied with two others in 29th place with a score of 83 after 18 holes.
Maddy Cordeiro rounded out the scorers, shooting an 84 in the opening round (33rd).
