Panthers In Fourth After First Day Of Jack Leaman Invitational

The Middlebury women's golf team sits in fourth place out of 10 teams following the first day of action at the Jack Leaman Invitational. Williams leads the group with a score of 303, followed by host Amherst (304), New York University (307) and the Panthers (325). Action continues at the par-72 Crumpet-Fox Golf Club on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. 
 
Elizabeth Kenter was the top performer for Middlebury, sitting in a three-way tie for fourth-place with a 75. Audrey Tir and Jacqueline Slinkard are tied with two others in 29th place with a score of 83 after 18 holes. Maddy Cordeiro rounded out the scorers, shooting an 84 in the opening round (33rd).
