Teddy Best was edged in three games while competing in the College Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships Molloy Cup North bracket consolation final. The three-day event was held at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia. The Panther captain was seeded 10th in the bracket, losing on Friday before picking up a pair of four-game victories to reach Sunday's match.

During the consolation final, 13th-seeded Jared Nalliah of Chatham opened with a 5-2 lead in the first game. Best roared back to grab a 9-7 edge, before Nalliah won three of the next four points to knot the game at 10-10. Trading the next two points, Nalliah earned the final two for the 13-11 win. Game two saw Best claim five of the initial six points, but his opponent rattled off a 5-1 run to tie the game at 6-6. Exchanging points, Nalliah posted the last two for the 12-10 triumph. The final game saw the Chatham player post the first four points and never look back for the 11-6 victory and the three-game sweep.
