Chloe Katz competed as an individual and four members of the Middlebury women's swimming and diving team competed in the 400-yard medley relay on the second day of the NCAA Championships. The Panthers return to the pool on Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. in the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis. 

In the second event of the day, Katz swam in the 200 freestyle preliminary, touching the wall with a season-best time of 1:54.30 to finish in 44th place.

Later in the morning, the 400 medley relay team of Isabella Caddeau, Hannah Wander, Maddie McKean and Courtney Gantt finished in 22nd place with a time of 3:53.38. The quartet of Panthers broke the school record last night in the 200 medley relay.
