Middlebury 200 Medley Relay Sets School Record On First Day Of NCAAs

Hannah Wander was a part of the 200 medley relay.
The Middlebury women's 200-yard medley relay team set a school record on the first day of the NCAA Championships. All five Panthers are back in action on Thursday with preliminaries starting at 10:00 a.m. in the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis.  
 
During the morning's preliminaries, Chloe Katz made her NCAA Championship debut in the 500-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 5:05.63. 
 
The 200 medley relay quartet of Isabella Caddeau, Hannah Wander, Maddie McKean and Courtney Gantt finished in 12th place out of 27 squads in the preliminaries with a time of 1:44.39. The Panthers returned to the pool for the consolation final in the evening, clocking a season-best and program record time of 1:43.99 to finish 13th overall. The previous record of 1:44.17 stood since 2014.
