Men’s Swimming and Diving Edges Connecticut College 152-145

The Middlebury men's swimming and diving team earned a tight 152-145 victory over Connecticut College to open the 2022-23 season.

HIGHLIGHTS

Paul Shen touched the wall at 59.90 to take the top spot in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Will Sonne scored a victory in the 200 butterfly, stopping the clock with a time of 1:59.55.
Samuel Hughes picked up wins in both the 200 backstroke and individual medley, clocking in at 1:55.26 and 1:59.31, respectively.
Riley Griffis earned top honors in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:50.92.
Off the diving board, Ryan Greguski and Jason Rickenbacher each finished in the top three in both the one and three meter events. Greguski earned second place in the three-meter dive finishing with 195.00, while Rickenbacher secured second on the one-meter board with a score of 215.10.
