Box Score The third-ranked Middlebury men's tennis team competed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regional Championships this weekend hosted by Bowdoin.

Robby Ward advanced to the semifinal round in doubles to highlight the three-day tournament.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Epstein, Ward and Zihao Yuan each won their respective first match in straight sets during action in the singles round of 64.
- Epstein eased past his opponent in the round of 32, before winning a three-set thriller in the round of 16. His tournament came to an end in the quarterfinal round.
- Ward and Epstein teamed up in the doubles bracket, earning a bye in the first round. The duo topped its opponents 8-2, 8-4 and 8-4 before falling to the eventual champion in the semifinals.
- The doubles tandem of Julian Wu and Yuan also posted a deep run for the Panthers. The team collected a trio of 8-4 triumphs before falling in the quarterfinals.
NOTES
- Epstein earned his 20th career singles victory with his triumph in the round of 32. He now owns an impressive mark of 21-11.
