#29 Women’s Cross Country Competes At Connecticut College Invite

Kate Kenny, Audrey Grimes, Bridget Ulian and Emily Vivanco were honored during Senior Day.
The 29th-ranked Middlebury women's cross country team finished in 19th place overall at the Connecticut College Invite. The event featured a strong field that included numerous nationally-ranked programs, as the Panther women competed in the blue race with different runners in its lineup. Prior to the start of the race, the Panthers honored seniors Audrey Grimes, Kate Kenny, Bridget Ulian and Emily Vivanco

HIGHLIGHTS 
  • Sixth-ranked MIT won the event with 62 points, while #14 St. Olaf (110 points), 16th-ranked Williams (115 points) and #8 Amherst (116 points) rounded out the top-four teams. Middlebury finished with 459 points. 
  • Lucca Franz led the Panthers with a 57th-place finish in a field of 308 runners, crossing the finish line in 23:03.90 to shave nearly 34 seconds off her personal-best time.
  • Tatum Peskin stopped the clock in 23:26.10, while Victoria Fawcett was just behind in 23:39.00. 
  • Keegan McAuliffe was just seconds behind with a clocking of 23:43.50, while Josie Dolan rounded out the scorers for Middlebury (24:10.80).
