Panthers Host Bobcats In NESCAC Weekend Finale

William Sonne placed first in the 200 fly and third in the 400 IM.
Middlebury men's swimming and diving hosted Bates on Sunday, falling by a score of 171-108. The Panthers will be home again over the weekend when they take on Springfield on Sunday, January 16.
 
Riley Griffis won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.39, leaving almost a second and a half between him and the Bobcat in second. He was also second in the 100 free (47.74) and part of the winning 400 free relay (3:13.08) along with Jake Gaughan, Aidan McKenrick and Pierce Bigelow. Bigelow went on to win the 500 free with a 4:56.13.
 
William Sonne was first in the 200 butterfly in 2:01.17 and, later on, placed third in the 400 individual medley (4:20.63). Ryan Greguski won on both boards with a score of 199.95 on the 1-meter and 189.00 on the 3-meter.
