Max Memeger broke the school record in the long jump.

Max Memeger each set school records in jumping events, guiding the men's track and field team to a fourth place finish at the Middlebury Winterfell. Amherst won the meet with 153.50 points, followed by the University of Vermont (142), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (129.50) and Middlebury (106.50). The team is home for the third-straight week next Saturday, hosting the Middlebury Invitational.
Fineske set a school record in the triple jump, placing second with a leap of 42'10.75". The previous mark of 41'11.5" was set by Silas Wong in 2011. Memeger broke the school record in the long jump, placing second with a distance of 21'9.0". The previous record of 21'4.75" was set by Nick Montello in 2011.
In the shot put,
Zack Sieb finished in second place with a heave of 44'9.75".
Aaron Tobias earned runner-up honors in the 60m dash with a time of 7.12, while
Marco Motroni was right behind in third place (7.16). Tobias also placed second in the 200m with a clocking of 22.95.
Colin Breen was two spots back in fourth with a time of 23.72.
Jefferson Hill earned runner-up honors in the 60m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 8.92.
Joel Kofman placed third in the pole vault with a height of 12'11.5".
Quinlan McGaugh finished in third in the 1,000m with a time of 2:35.75.
Peter Hansen finished fourth in the 600m with a clocking of 1:25.38.
