RESULTS
In an event shortened to just 18 holes due to rain on Sunday, the Middlebury men's golf team placed third among 16 teams at the Bowdoin Invitational. Action took place at the par-72 Brunswick Golf Club. The Panthers return to action in two weeks at the Saratoga National Invitational.
Trinity captured the event with a 294, followed by Husson (297) and Middlebury (299).
Colin McCaigue finished second overall with a two-under-par 70 on Saturday. Right behind him in third place was
Kenneth Dieker, who carded a one-under-par 71. Finishing in 14th place at the event was
Sean McGarrity, who came in with a 75. Tied for 23rd place overall were
Phin Choukas and
Hogan Beazley, who each shot a 77. Rounding out the squad was
Chris Thompson, whose 79 placed him in a tie for 36th place.
