RESULTS
The Middlebury men's cross country team won Saturday's Vermont Tech Maple Syrup Challenge hosted by Vermont Tech. The Panthers, ranked 21st in the USTFCCCA pre-season poll, placed five runners in the top six to finish with 19 points. Middlebury returns to action next Saturday, hosting the annual Aldrich Invitational.

Alec Gironda won the 8k race in a time of 27:30.20, edging out Taban Manyok from Fitchburg State by less than five seconds. Middlebury's
Max Cluss was third overall in 27:55.42, while
Alexander Kessler was fourth (27:55.50). Crossing the finish line in fifth place was
Quinlan McGaugh (27:55.50) and
Luke Lorenz (27:56.27) was next to round out the scoring for the Panthers.
