The Middlebury women's tennis team (4-3) fell 5-4 at Williams (2-3) in its season finale on Saturday. The teams squared off a week ago with the Panthers coming away with the 5-4 edge.
Due to an insufficient number of players, the Ephs had to default at #3 doubles and #6 singles, giving Middlebury a 2-0 cushion to start the day.
In doubles play, Williams recorded victories on court one and two. The Ephs won 8-4 in the first slot and edged Middlebury 8-6 in the second spot.

Gena Huang won her fifth-straight singles match (6-3, 6-2) in the second slot to make it 3-3. The Ephs regained the lead with a point onf court four.

Sami Remis came from behind to even the match 4-4 with a victory (3-6, 6-4, 10-8) at #3, but the Ephs earned the final point in the fifth slot (6-0, 1-6, 10-7) to edge the Panthers 5-4.
