The Middlebury men's track and field team had balanced effort on Saturday in an 86-54 home dual-meet win over Hamilton, recording six first-place performances in the field events with five more on the track. The Panthers return to action next weekend, competing at a quad-meet at Williams.
Prior to the meet, the team honored its senior members for their hard work and dedication to the program. Competing at Dragone Field for the final time were

Middlebury excelled the in the throwing events, taking first in the hammer throw, shot put, javelin and discus. Klein boasted a top distance of 45.11 meters in the hammer and 13.97 in the shot put, while
Daniel Brey won the javelin (43.76m) and Sieb claimed first in the discus (45.52m).
Max Memeger won the long jump for the second time this spring, going a distance of 6.81 meters, while
Francis Price cleared a height of 1.79m to win the high jump.
Coleman won the 100 meters in his final home meet with a time of 11.26 seconds, while
Max Cluss crossed the finish line first in the 800m in 1:54.26.
Quinlan McGaugh had a clocking of 3:58.24 to win the 1,500 meters, while
Jack Rudnick was first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:57.89.
The Panthers opened the meet with a winning time of 44.28 seconds in the 4x100 relay, as
Nadji Ngbokoli, Durst,
Finn Warner and
Aaron Tobias each ran a leg.
