A handful of the Middlebury men's track and field student-athletes competed at the Tufts Last-Chance Meet on Thursday in the hopes of bettering their standings for the upcoming selections for the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships.

Zack Sieb led the charge for the Panthers, taking top honors in the discus with a winning toss of 42.06 meters.
Samuel Maxwell posted a season-best toss of 40.11 meters in the hammer throw to place third.

On the track,
Quinlan McGaugh claimed third in the 1,500 meters (3:55.11), while
Max Cluss was sixth in the 800 in 1:53.53. Those times were personal-best efforts for both runners.
