The Middlebury women's golf team placed fourth among five teams at the 2021
NESCAC Women's Golf Championship. The event was hosted by Amherst at the Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley, Massachusetts. The first 18 holes of the event were held last Sunday at the same venue.
Williams pulled away from the field to claim the title with a two-round total of 628. Amherst placed second (649), followed by Hamilton (654) and Middlebury (337-347-684).
Tying for ninth overall in the second round of the event was
Katie Murphy, who turned in an 82 on Saturday afternoon.
Kayla Li was among others in 11th place with an 84, followed by
Elizabeth Kenter, who finished 16th overall with an 86.
Jacqueline Slinkard carded a 95 to place 20th, while
Erika Nakagawa rounded out the squad in 23rd with a 98.
