The Middlebury women’s swimming and diving team opens the 2021-22 season on Saturday, November 20 with a dual meet at Connecticut College. The Panthers are returning to competition after no contests last winter due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Head Coach Bob Rueppel returns to the deck of the Natatorium for his 11th season. He enters the new campaign within five victories of reaching 200 for his career.

Middlebury returns three members of its 200-medley relay team that posted a NCAA B cut time in 2020. That trio includes senior captains Courtney Gantt and Maddie McKean, along with classmate Hannah Wander. Gantt and junior Lily Siemasko made up half of the 200 freestyle relay team that boasted a NCAA B time.
