RESULTS
The Middlebury women's cross country team placed third among 11 teams competing at the NESCAC Championship meet. The race was hosted by Trinity and took place at Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut. The 16th-ranked Panthers return to action at the NCAA Regionals on November 13th in Waterford, Connecticut.
Sixth-ranked Williams won the event with 65 points, followed by #14 Tufts (78), Middlebury (93) and #15 Bates (94). The third-place effort was the 28th-straight top-four finish at the event for the Panthers.
Cassie Kearney was Middlebury's top finisher at the event, coming in second among 148 racers with a time of 22:59.
Bea Parr also finished in the top 10, clocking a time of 23:43 to place third. Earning the 25th spot was
Morgane Orcutt in 24:43, while
Kate Kenny followed in 29th place with a time of 24:53. Just one second behind (24:54) was
Nicole Johnson in 30th, while
Emily Bulczynski was 38th (25:20) and
Sophie Nardelli finished 39th (25:20).
