RESULTS
The Middlebury women's golf squad had two teams in action at the Williams Golf Championship over the weekend. The fifth-ranked hosts won the 10-team event with a 590, while the Panther teams shot 649 (8th) and 684 (10th). Competition was held at the Taconic Golf Club. Middlebury returns to action next weekend at the NESCAC Qualifier hosted by Bowdoin.Â
Katie Murphy was Middlebury's top finisher over the weekend, coming in with a two-day total of 153 (76-77) to tie for 13th place overall. Finishing 31st was
Audrey Tir with a 162 (79-83), followed by
Jacqueline Slinkard, whose 166 (85-81) placed her in a tie for 39th place.
Mia Politano shot a 167 (85-82) to finish 42nd, while
Elizabeth Kenter came in with a 168 (85-83) to round out the team's top-five efforts.
