RESULTS
The 18th-ranked Middlebury men's cross country team finished third in a field of 26 teams at the Connecticut College Invitational. Third-ranked Williams won the meet with a score of 37, followed by #4 MIT (43) and the Panthers (114). Prior to the start of the race, Middlebury honored seniors
Liam Hoagland,
Quinlan McGaugh,
Jack Rudnick and
Noah Whiting. The Panthers are back in action on October 31 when they travel to Trinity for the NESCAC Championship.
Zander Kessler was first across the finish line for Middlebury, placing 15th among 186 runners with a time of 25:11.4. McGaugh was just behind in 17th, completing the 8K course in 25:19.7.
Drew Donahue and
Alec Gironda finished 20th and 21st, recording times of 25:28.6 and 25:30.6, respectively.
Max Cluss rounded out the scorers, placing 41st with a time of 25:58.9.
