RESULTS
The Middlebury men's golf team was back in action this weekend, taking part in the Saratoga National Invitational hosted by Skidmore. The Panthers placed seventh among nine teams competing, coming in with a two-day total of 614. Babson won the event with a 590, 11 strokes ahead of second-place Rensselaer. Middlebury wraps up its fall season on Tuesday with the annual Sap Bucket Challenge at the Ekwanok Country Club in Manchester, Vt.
Leading Middlebury at the weekend tournament was
Phin Choukas, who tied for 12th overall with a two-day total of 151 (74-77). One stroke back in a tie for 14th was
Hogan Beazley, who came in with a 152 (74-78). Joining others in 24th place was
Colin McCaigue, who shot a 154 (76-78), while
Sean McGarrity's two-round score was 157 (78-83). Rounding out the squad was
Kenneth Dieker, who earned a 161 (78-83).
