The Middlebury men's squash team opened a three-match weekend with an 8-1 loss at #18 Navy (7-6) on Friday night in Annapolis. The 19th-ranked Panthers (1-2) return to action on Saturday when they visit George Washington with a 1:00 p.m. start.

Wiatt Hinton was the lone Panther to pick up a win in the match, earning a 3-0 (11-6, 11-9, 11-8) victory over Ben Korn at #6 singles. Panther Alex Merrill dropped a hard-fought 3-2 (11-4, 8-11, 11-8, 9-11, 12-10) contest in the eighth slot to Gus Prager.
