Men's Squash Drops Decision to No. 14 George Washington

The 20th-ranked Middlebury men's squash team wrapped up its first semester on Sunday, dropping a 7-2 match to 14th-ranked George Washington. The contest took place in the Kellner Squash Center on the campus of Trinity. The Panthers (2-2) have almost a month off from competition before returning to the court Saturday, January 5 for a home match with Williams beginning at 2:00 p.m.

In the setback against the Colonials (4-5), Nate Moll tallied the first point with a three-game win (11-7, 11-8, 11-3) over Abaas Saeed at the bottom of the ladder. The Colonials reeled off six-straight wins, grabbing a 6-1 advantage.

The Panthers tallied their second point when Wiatt Hinton edged Juan Sebastian Laguna at No. 7 by game scores of 11-9, 11-9, 11-4. With the victory, Hinton remained perfect on the season at 4-0.

George Washington completed the scoring with a four-game victory at No. 7 for the final 7-2 tally.
