Middlebury and Hamilton (2-2-1, 1-2-1) went toe-to-toe for 110 minutes, ending in a 1-1 draw on Sunday at Dragone Field. The Panthers (3-1-1, 1-1-1) will travel to Bowdoin for a noon game on Saturday, while the Continentals will visit Connecticut College for a 1:00 p.m. kick-off.

The only goal of the first half came with just 3:09 remaining, when Hamilton's Kayleigh Harris sent a through ball to Cat Gambino. She turned and beat a Middlebury defender, burying the ball into the upper-left corner of the goal for her first career goal.

Middlebury dominated the second half of play, outshooting Hamilton 12-1, before finally getting on the board with 1:50 to go in regulation. Eliza Robinson chipped the ball up to Eliza Van Voorhis, who headed the ball into the back of the net, tying the game 1-1. Earlier in the half at the 55-minute mark, a shot from Virginia Charman hit the crossbar and was cleared away.

After the first overtime, both teams remained scoreless. Two minutes into the second extra session, Ursula Alwang came charging off her line and denied a chance from the left side by a sprinting Katie Kreider. Middlebury's best chance to end the game came with 5:20 left, when Charman crossed a ball into the six, causing Hamilton's goalkeeper Emily Dumont to dive off her line, pushing the ball away.  

The Panthers held a 17-8 shot advantage and an edge in corner kicks (4-3). Alwang finished with four saves for Middlebury, while Dumont had six.
