The Middlebury cross country teams hosted their annual home meet as the Panther men and women both captured the Aldrich Invitational. The Middlebury women, ranked third nationally, scored the minimum 15 points in a field of seven teams, while the 12th-ranked men bested a field of seven squads totaling 30 points to runner-up Colby's 47.

In the women's 5K event, the Panthers secured the top-six spots overall and eight of the first nine. Katie Carlson earned the victory with a time of 18:49.5, while Alison Maxwell was second in 19:00.6. The next three scorers for Middlebury were bunched together separated by just over five seconds. Summer Spillane led the group to the finish line in third (19:04.2), while Addis Fouche-Channer was right behind in fourth (19:08.8). Adrian Walsh rounded out the scorers for the Panthers with a fifth-place finish in 19:09.7.

Kevin Wood captured the men's 8K race for the second-straight year in a time of 26:08, while teammate Wilder Schaaf posted a runner-up time of 26:42.7. Placing sixth overall was Jacob Fox in 27:06.9, followed closely by Brian Rich in eighth (27:09.9). Sebastian Matt rounded out the men's scorers with a 13th-place effort of 27:14.8.
