Men's Soccer Settles For 1-1 Road Tie At Trinity

The Middlebury men's soccer team earned its second-straight tie, as the Panthers finished in a 1-1 stalemate at Trinity (5-3-2, 1-3-2) on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers (5-2-3, 2-2-3) return to action tomorrow when they face Hamilton at 1:30 p.m.

Fernando Cuervo-Torello collected his first goal of the season from Cody Savonen 19:38 into the game.  Middlebury tied the score when Adam Glaser found Greg Conrad in the 62nd minute. Trinity goalie Mateo Zabala made one save late in regulation and four of eight stops in the first 10-minute overtime to preserve the tie. 

Greg Sydor finished with five saves for Middlebury, which held a 23-16 shot advantage and a 10-3 edge on corner kicks.
