The Middlebury men's soccer team picked up its second win in as many days, topping Southern Vermont (3-12-1) 5-0 at home on Wednesday. The Panthers (8-3-1) scored five goals in the game's first 18:01 before taking the gas off the pedal for the remainder of the contest. Middlebury returns to action on Saturday with a NESCAC road game at Wesleyan.

Dan Skayne opened the scoring just 59 seconds into the contest, finding the back of the net after a feed from Noah Goss-Woliner from the right side.

Goss-Woliner scored the first of his career at 10:14 on a rebound, after a shot from Deklan Robinson had bounced off the goalkeeper.

Skayne netted his second of the game and fifth of the season at 13:41, converting a cross from Adam Glaser.

Philip Skayne made it a 4-0 game at the 17:50 mark, with the first of his career with an assist from Goss-Woliner.

Glaser wrapped-up the scoring 11 seconds later, netting his NESCAC-leading eighth of the season after a Mountaineer turnover.

Middlebury finished with a 17-3 shots advantage, holding a 5-0 lead in corner kicks. Ethan Collins earned the win with 27:04 minutes of action, while John Lower made a pair of saves in 62:56 in his collegiate debut. Brendan Shea (5 GA, 4 saves) and Chris Dunham (1 save) each played a half for S. Vermont.
