Middlebury broke a brief two-game skid with a 3-1 win over Trinity (7-2-2, 3-2-2) at home on Saturday. The Panthers (4-3-1, 3-3-1) out shot their opponent 17-5 and will return to action on Sunday when they host Hamilton at 2:00 p.m.

Middlebury took a 1-0 lead exactly 18 minutes into the game. Adam Glaser took a pass from Tom Bean and moved towards the goal before chipping a quick shot over Trinity keeper Jason Katz for the marker. Deklan Robinson gave his team a 2-0 lead at 24:17, heading in a crossing pass from the right side by Harper Williams.

Trinity got on the board with 6:24 left in the half when Cody Savonen found Fernando Torello at the top of the box for the first of his career.

Middlebury regained its two-goal cushion 51:04 into the contest with Glaser's team-leading fifth goal of the season. Greg Conrad headed the ball into the middle where Glaser battled before creating some space with a quick shot to the back of the net.

The Panthers had another great chance in the 79^th minute, but a beautiful shot from Williams from a restart 25 yards out was denied by a leaping save from Domenic Quade.

Ethan Collins finished the game with a pair of saves for Middlebury, while Katz (4 saves, 2 GA) and Quade (2 saves) both saw time for the Bantams.
