Women's Soccer With Third-Straight Shutout Win

The 10th-ranked Middlebury women's soccer team improved to 3-0 overall after a 3-0 victory at Colby in NESCAC play Saturday. Rachel Madding scored the lone goal of the first half at 28:12 when she took a pass from Maddy Boston and scored on a long blast.

Hannah Robinson made it 2-0 at 65:36 of the contest with an assist from Julia Favorito. The Panthers finished the scoring when Ali Omsberg tipped in a shot off a pass from the corner by Scarlett Kirk.

Elizabeth Foody made one save to earn Middlebury's third shutout in three games. Jayde Bennett played the first half for Colby and made two saves, while Emily Brook came on to start the second half and also stopped two shots.
