Women's Soccer Knocked Off By Conn. College

Astrid Kempainen unloaded with a 25 yard blast for a goal in the 55th minute of action to lead Connecticut College to a stunning 1-0 shutout victory against the seventh-ranked and previously undefeated Middlebury on Sunday. The Camels improve their record 3-6-1 and are 1-6 in NESCAC play, while the Panthers fall to 8-1-1 with 5-1-1 mark in conference action.

Aina Torres assisted on the difference making goal, while Natalie Signor made six saves in the shutout win for the hosts. Elizabeth Foody made one save in the first half for Middlebury, while Jocelyn Remmert stopped two shots in relief duty.
