Men's Soccer Earns Draw At Conn. College

Middlebury and Connecticut College battled for 110 minutes, settling for a 1-1 tie in NESCAC action on Sunday afternoon. The Camels improve their record to 3-2-5 and are 0-2-5 in NESCAC play, while the Panthers are 5-4-1 with a 2-4-1 record in conference play.

Middlebury's Jack Freeman opened the scoring in the 10th minute of action when he buried a penalty kick inside the left post.  Camel Dillon Kerr tied the game early in the second half, scoring in the 47th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Marino Patrk made a nifty move, delivering a low cross out in front for Kerr, who one-timed one into the back of the net.

Zach Abdu-Glass stopped 10 shots in the contest for the Panthers, while junior Casey Marini made six saves for the Camels.

Connecticut College held a 15-14 advantage in shots and also enjoyed a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
