Women's Soccer Earns Win At Trinity

Box Score

Carter Talgo scored the game-winning goal in the 75th minute to lead visiting Middlebury to a 2-1 victory at Trinity on Saturday. The Bantams fall to 4-6 overall and 3-5 in the NESCAC with its second loss in a row, while the Panthers improve to 9-1-1 overall and 6-1-1 in the league.

Middlebury  took the lead first in the 32nd minute on a well-placed ball from Julia Favorito that made its way through the center of the pitch and snuck over Trinity goalie Monica DiFiori's head.

The Bantams answered with a goal of their own thanks to a Kelsey Thomas blast that Middlebury goalie Elizabeth Foody couldn't handle, and sophomore Elisa Dolan cleaned up the rebound just after the half. A few minutes into the second half, Middlebury midfielder Carter Talgo placed the decisive goal past Thomas' left shoulder.
