Men's Soccer Wins At Trinity - Unbeaten In Last Four Games

Box Score

Senior goalkeeper Zach Abdu-Glass made nine saves to lead Middlebury to a 2-1 win at Trinity on Campus Field.  Trinity falls to 5-3-3 on the year and 3-3-2 in the league, and Middlebury improves to 6-4-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the NESCAC.

Middlebury's Harper Williams scored midway through the first half to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead, which would remain the score until the midway point. Trinity's John El-Hachem found his older brother, Anthony El-Hachem, for a quick strike, just 17 seconds into the second half to tie the game at 1-1.

Trinity outshot Middlebury 8-5 in the second half, and 14-9 in the game, but Middlebury's Alvand Hajizadeh delivered a fatal blow to the Bantams when he netted his team-best fourth goal of the year, which would prove to be the eventual game-winner.

Abdu-Glass gets the win in net for Middlebury, while Trinity goalkeeper Jason Katz finished the game with five saves for the Bantams.
