The Panther men's squash team finished third at the NESCAC Championship, advancing to the semifinal round. The third place finish was the highest for the Panthers in the five-year history of the tournament. 15th-ranked Middlebury cruised to an 8-1 win over #18 Amherst in the quarterfinals, before falling 8-1 to top-ranked Trinity in a semifinal contest. The Panthers bounced back to top #14 Bates 6-3 in the third place match.
Junior Valentin Quan (La Libertad, El Salvador) went 2-1 for the Panthers in the #1 slot on the weekend. Also going 2-1 were junior Addi DiSesa (Wynnewood, Pa.), sophomores Jay Dolan (Wareham, Mass.) and Spencer Hurst (Greenwich, Conn.), along with rookies Parker Hurst (Greenwich, Conn.) and Cooper Redpath (Sanibel Island, Fla.).
