Amy Schlueter scored two goals in a 2:17 span in the second half to lead Middlebury (2-2-1) to a 2-0 victory over Skidmore (3-2-1) on Dragone Field. The shutout is the second of the season for the Panthers, while the loss snaps a four-game unbeaten streak for the Thoroughbreds.

An evenly played first half saw each team with some chances, but neither able to capitalize. Middlebury controlled play in the second half, holding a 13-0 shots advantage in the contest. The Panthers started knocking on the door in the 60th minute, with Nora Tomlinson-Weintraub having some good looks. Their best chance came in the 69th minute when her rolling shot hit the far post and deflected wide.

Middlebury broke through on a corner kick at the 70:05 mark, with Schlueter netting her first of the season. Tomlinson-Weintraub took the corner that found Annie Rowell in the middle. Rowell's deflection was stopped by the Skidmore defense, before Schlueter bounced on the rebound for the goal. Just 2:17 later, Schlueter intercepted a pass, and ripped home a shot from 25 yards out on the right side to make it a 2-0 game. 

Lauryn Torch made six saves in the first half for Middlebury, while Jocelyn Remmert made one second half stop to earn the win. Meghan Sleezer made nine saves between the posts for Skidmore.
