The Middlebury women's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie on the road, battling 110 minutes at Keene State. The Panthers move to 7-1-1 on the season, while the Owls see their record go to 10-3-1.

Taking a lead pass from Drew Smith, Annie Rowell gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead a the 11:55 mark when she took a couple of dribbles and beat KSC goalie Megan Dempsey with a shot to the far corner. It was Rowell's team-leading seventh goal of the season.

The Panthers had a few great chances to score in the remainder of the first half, but could not take advantage. Shortly after the Rowell goal, Dempsey kept it a one goal game when she went up and tipped a shot by Margaret Owen over the crossbar. With eight minutes to play in the half, Kristen Lundquist fired a shot off the left goal post as the Panthers took a 1-0 lead into the intermission.

The Owls picked up the pressure in the second half and got the equalizer when Joan Hamel converted a crossing ball from Katie Bradford at the 66:33 mark for her first collegiate goal.

Dempsey preserved the tie for KSC with a couple of big saves in the closing minute of play in the second overtime. She first stopped a close range shot by Owen with 59 seconds to go and a bid by Hannah Newman with just 15 seconds to play.

Junior Lauryn Torch finished the game with three saves for the Panthers as Middlebury outshot KSC 10-5.
