Despite out shooting its opponent 15-7 and dominating a majority of the game, the Middlebury women's soccer team came away with a 1-0 road loss at Keene State on Wednesday night.
The Owls scored on a crossing pass that found its way into the goal at 22:26 of the first half for the only tally of the game. Middlebury threatened several times in the game, but could not get the equalizer. Their best chance may have been when a Keene State defender cleared the ball off the goal line with 2:35 left to play. Adele Plunkett ended the game with a pair of saves.
