9/17/05 - David LaRocca scored a pair of goals to help lift Middlebury to a 3-0 NESCAC road win at Tufts. After a scoreless first half, Vandy Shanholt put the visitors up 1-0 in the 52nd minute. Alex Elias struck a ball that was blocked back to Shanholt, who blasted in his second goal of the season.

LaRocca had an action packed stretch late in the second half. For his first goal in the 74th minute, he won a challenge ball and scored to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead. Half a minute later, LaRocca scored again off a pretty flick from Baer Fisher for a 3-0 score.

Zach Toth made six saves to earn his second straight shutout.
