Middlebury scored five first period goals on its way to a 7-1 win at Connecticut College. The Panthers out shot the Camels 41-17 on the afternoon, as they converted five of 11 power play opportunities.

Mickey Gilchrist, Evgeny Saidachev and Kyle Koziara led the offense with two goals and an assist apiece. Eric LaFreniere had a goal and an assist, while Brett Shirreffs dished out three assists.

Rookie Doug Raeder made 16 saves in goal to earn the win.
