10/15/05 - The Middlebury College men's cross country teams raced among a packed field at the Albany Invitational last Saturday, finishing sixth in a 27-team race. Both races featured several Division I teams from around the region.

Sophomore Jimmy Butcher (Garden City, N.Y.) paced the Middlebury men with a ninth place finish (25:10), 24 seconds off the winning time. Senior Garrott Kuzzy (Minneapolis, Minn.) finished the race in 33rd (25:52), followed by junior Will McDonough (Lancaster, N.H.)  in 38th place (25:56). Rounding out Middlebury's scorers were first-year racers Peter Murphy (Wilton, Conn.) (26:23/60th) and Jack Wambach (Evanston, Ill.) (26:31/67th).
