9/11/04 - The Middlebury College Panthers (1-0, 1-0) notched a 1-0 victory over host Connecticut College (1-1, 0-1) in NESCAC men's soccer action Saturday afternoon.  Vandy Shanholdt (Hillsborough, CA) netted the only tally of the contest in the 50th minute of play, scoring off a pass from Simon Perkins (Manchester, VT). Craig Hirsch (Verona, NJ) made three saves en route to the victory for the Panthers. Senior co-captain Jon Knights (Nashua, NH) had six stops for the Camels.
