Women's Soccer Remains Unbeaten In NESCAC Play

Middlebury improved to 5-0-2 in NESCAC play as they picked up a nice road win at Williams. The Panthers remain undefeated on the season with a 9-0-2 overall mark.

The Panthers came out strong in the first half, recording several shots before the Ephs got going. Eph keeper Sarah Ginsburg made two early saves to keep her team in the game.

Neither team was ready to give any ground in the second half, and the battling continued on both ends of the field. Eph Ana Sani nearly put Williams on the scoreboard several times but Els Van Woert and her defenders was equal to the task.

It looked like the game was headed into overtime, but at 87:20, Middlebury's Caitlin Parker received a pass from fellow Panther Erin Oliver and blasted a shot from about 15 yards out towards the upper right corner. Sarah Ginsburg got her fingers on it but was unable to tip it completely to the side.
